Security in a rooflight system goes beyond simple theft resistance and should address your full SHEV strategy. If you are new to SHEV this is how you design out problems associated with Smoke, Heat, Exhaust and Ventilation.

With the patented Safeslide system, Primalux rooflights may be opened to 180 degrees in just seven seconds, allowing the Fire Brigade safe access to the building and assisting the control of the spread of fire.

The Primalux rooflights have been tested to open even in high winds or where there are direct snow loads and are required to achieve by test a 10,000 open/closing cycle and a 100 times fire function test.

Primalux also design and install all the integrated M&E via central command boxes and can design in:
Smoke detection; fire control; passive ventilation; active ventilation; rain sensor activation and zone controls. All equipment is factory tested and ready to use.
