What is Panelam®?
Panelam® is an engineered beam constructed from laminations of C30 grade Scandinavian Whitewood, glued together using MUF glue. The beams are manufactured in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of EN386 with stress graded timber to prEN 14081. This product was developed for the timber frame industry for use as an edge binder or rim board on floor cassettes.
Delivered with a moisture content of between 12% to 15%, Panelam® is an extremely stable material that is ideally suited to medium rise constructions. Suitable untreated for class 1 and 2 service class conditions, Panelam® is also available treated for class 3 service class conditions.
