SasmoX - Acoustic Performance

Due to the minimum 1200kg m³  density of Sasmox, excellent acoustic values can be achieved, allowing it to be specified as part of a building system satisfying Part E Building Regulations 2000.

With correct detailing, a weighted sound dR insulation in excess of 50 on metal studs and 61 on timber studs can be achieved.

With suitable frame structures and correct insulation, Sasmox will fulfil the most stringent requirements, for example hotel rooms, hospitals, schools, offices, airports and industrial buildings.

Combined with its superior fire performance, the acoustic performance of Sasmox allows the design of high performance structures.
