SasmoX - Fire Performance

At the heart of every SasmoX board is the crystal water bound into the gypsum raw material. On application of heat the crystal water is released from the surface of the board acting as "nature's sprinkler system."

This structure allows the board to achieve both Building Regulations Class O BS476:Part 6 1981 and Part 7 1987. 

Constructions with a fire resistance up to 120 minutes may be achieved with correct detailing of SasmoX.

There is no problem in specifying Sasmox for the most demanding applications such as public buildings, schools , hospitals, timber frame and modular buildings.
